THE BOLTON HOTEL BACKGROUND
The Bolton Hotel is one of Wellington’s finest independent hotels, with an excellent central spot for work or leisure, located right in the heart of New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington. Just steps from the Parliament buildings and the central business district, the Bolton Hotel is more than conveniently close to the best of the central city’s shops, cafes and restaurants, and also within walking distance of Wellington’s vibrant, unique and beautiful waterfront.
The Bolton Hotel had got a little tired over it’s years of success and was due for an update. However, due to the hotel being a busy hotel in the centre of Wellington, this refurbishment required a strategic approach. That is where Vendella was able to help out. Vendella specialise in being able to complete staggered ordering, same day dispatch, and can adjust many other variables that are included in the ordering, shipping and delivery process.
UH-OH MOMENT
The Bolton Hotel required staggered deliveries throughout their refurbishment in order to remain open and manage costs and booking and staffing efficiencies. The Bolton Hotel only wanted to close off one floor at a time, so that they could still stay open. Vendella were able to assist them in doing this by shipping goods as needed, to furnish one floor after the other. This meant the hotel could keep the hotel fully operational, and have near capacity availability, while still completing renovations. Having a fast paced and flexible team with a large accommodating warehouse allowed us to prepare and hold stock ready for dispatch at short notice in order to deliver in full on our promises.
