Background.

Wanaka Springs Lodge is a unique place to stay while guests are visiting Wanaka region.  Sitting within half an acre of gardens, bordered by their very own waipuna/water spring, this lodge offers peace and tranquility. With ten beautifully appointed King Guests rooms on offer, each suite is comfortable and quiet, and has access to the modern kitchen and dining area. Wanaka Springs Lodge is all about the environment and sustainability using 100% renewable hydro energy, a benefit of the numerous lakes and rivers in the area. They also support several organizations such as NZ Avalanche Search Dogs and the Himalayan Trust, with a portion of their revenue funds going to these worthy causes.

The Project.

After taking over the management of the property, and not having new beds and bedding for a number of years, Teri had a budget to work with in view of upgrading the property.  Reaching out to her account manager, Jim Boakes, Teri asked for a quote to provide bed, bedding and furniture options for her rooms.  This resulted in Vendella providing everything she needed to fit out her 8-king bed boutique lodge.  Her order arrived all on one truck, with the driver helping unload it all.  Teri and her team sorted the goods into the bedrooms, and installed it all, making up the rooms as they went.  Overlooking Lake Wanaka and giving the guests a 180-degree view of the surrounding mountains, the property boasts a 1-bedroom Penthouse apartment.  Teri describes this apartment as special, so Jim and the Vendella team sourced bespoke furniture, and other items to give it a more premium look.  As Teri says, “it just looks fantastic”.
