On a global scene, we are focused on how our supply chain is filled and that suppliers are also aware of the responsibilities they hold as an integral part in our industry.

Plastic Bottles Recycled…Meet DreamGreen – A clever three step recycling process transforms plastic bottles into a luxurious microfibre.
Plastic bottles are sterilised then reduced into small flakes. These flakes are spun into a yarn, which is then transformed into our premium hypoallergenic, microfibre. The result is a high loft and luxurious softness that guests globally rave over.

We align our business practices with internationally recognised sustainability frameworks, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Vendella supports and is committed to the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), including human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility, and anti-corruption.
We expect the same from our supply chain partners.
Procurement prioritises suppliers that meet recognised certification standards such as Global Recycled Standard (GRS), FSC, OEKO-TEX®, and SA8000.
Cartons with a conscience.
You may notice our cartons have changed from white to brown. This shift reduces environmental impact—white paper uses around 50% more water and requires toxic bleaching chemicals, while brown cartons contain a higher percentage of recycled material. It was a clear choice, so keep an eye out for the new cartons in your next order.
FSC Certified Furniture
FSC certification ensures strong environmental and social responsibility standards. Our Makers Sofas and Chairs are produced using FSC-certified timber in an FSC-certified factory. FSC offers the highest level of protection for endangered forests and wildlife, and is the only certification system that requires consultation with indigenous communities to protect their rights. As a not-for-profit, FSC is supported by organisations like Greenpeace and WWF.
