About the property
Hortus Worker Accommodation provide a relaxing home away from home for their RSE workers. Boasting over 350 beds in twin-share rooms and several generous amenities blocks, the Blenheim site is spread across 12 acres right on the Opawa River. With large areas dedicated to sport and recreation, with both outdoor courts and an indoor gym area and dedicated areas for relaxing, gathering, learning, and even growing veggies for tea. Instead of maximising on capacity, Hortus have focused on maximising comfort and enjoyment for their guests.
Project background
We have been working with Rob at Hortus and their extensive RSE Accommodation project from the outset. From the first module of 50x units, to the modern, spacious complex of 450+ beds today. Hortus go the extra mile in providing a high standard of care for their seasonal workers and Vendella is proud to be involved as a key supplier to achieving this.
