Vendella provided all of the furniture flat-packed, making transporting easy as everything could be assembled in the rooms saving students having to carry their own furniture up and down the stairways.
BACKGROUND
Stuart Laing Student Accommodation are privately owned apartments, centrally located in the Dunedin CBD. Featuring a mixture of two and three bedroom apartments across the different levels of the apartment complex. All apartments have a stunning panoramic view of the Otago peninsular and Dunedin CBD. All rooms are tastefully and practically appointed, fully-furnished for the end user.
THE PROJECT
Six additional student flats were built including 27 bedrooms all with their own ensuites, and fully furnished. Furniture was provided with the room in order to save the students carrying their own furniture up and down the stairways. All furniture supplied was flat-packed to help with transportation and installation. Product supplied included free-standing wardrobes, chest-of-drawers, beds, headboards with bedsides, and desks.
