Background.

FarmRight is a New Zealand-based agribusiness investment and management company specializing in the development and operation of diverse agricultural properties. Since its establishment in 2000 FarmRight has expanded its portfolio to encompass a variety of horticultural ventures, notably apple orchards.

The Project.

As part of this expansion, FarmRight recently took over management of significant 194-hectare orchard in Riwaka, of which 120ha has been planted in the Envy apple cultivar and further developing this site to include purpose-built staff accommodation. As Red Martin, General Manager said, “This project is to be built over three stages with the initial 100 bed block completed early 2025. Vendella had supplied furnishings to our Appleby orchard in Hope and their knowledge of the industry gave us the confidence to engage with Greg and the team for advice on furnishing and setup of our new Riwaka site.“
