Background.

Situated in the far North of New Zealand, Roma Marae stands as one of three maraes in Ahipara, holding the esteemed position of Marae matua, or the eldest and senior marae. Accommodating approximately 40 people in its small whare tapuna, the marae also features a spacious dining room capable of seating 280 individuals. As the main marae, it is designated for accommodation use, particularly in the event of National/Northland Civil Defense Force action. 

The Project.

As a committee member of the marae, Mareea reached out to Vendella after learning from a friend about their exceptional bedding items. With the guidance of account manager Greg Richards, Mareea navigated the process of obtaining samples for trial, and subsequently arranging for the delivery of goods to the marae. Throughout the journey, Greg ensured timely updates on delivery times, providing valuable assistance. 

How did Vendella make it easy?

Vendella’s ability to keep Mareea informed about the tracking details of her order proved to be invaluable, especially considering the lack of on-site staff at the marae. This reliable communication allowed her to anticipate the arrival of goods with confidence. Additionally, the provision of samples made the selection process much simpler for Mareea and her team.
