BACKGROUND

Located near Matamata in the Waikato, Totara Springs Youth Centre is the perfect accommodation venue for school camps, business conferences, and family get-togethers. There are 90 acres of park-like grounds and native bush with streams, walks and bush trails. With a large gymnasium, lecture theater, a large hot pool fed by natural spring water, onsite laundry, and a large hot pool fed by natural spring water, Totara Springs is the largest center of its kind in New Zealand. Being constantly upgraded, the camp offers a variety of rooms including motels rooms, lodges, cabins, and campervan/tent sites.

THE PROJECT

We received a call from the operations manager at the camp who was looking for fit-for-purpose bunks and mattresses for the camp. Even being the biggest and busiest youth camp in New Zealand, we were still able to help meet their project timeline while they were still operating. Due to the busyness of the camp, they had to schedule their projects to refurbish the rooms and facilities. Because of our warehouse capacity, we were able to hold their stock and stagger their deliveries to work with their refurb schedule.

PROBLEMS WE SOLVED / REASONS FOR PARTNERING WITH VENDELLA

We had the right fit-for-purpose products the camp needed in-stock and ready to go. All of our product met their expectations, and the new waterproof mattress covers were a huge time-saver and look very smart in their rooms.
